The outfitter for this hunt is operating primarily in the Limpopo Province of the Republic of South Africa. We offer
both bow and rifle hunting with bowhunting being our specialty. Our hides (blinds) and treestands have been created and established
to ensure quality shot opportunities for all bowhunters both traditional and modern. Each station is positioned over a hot
waterhole where game congregates several times daily providing two or more shot opportunities and numerous game encounters.
All Professional Hunters and staff members are “bow smart” and know the particulars involved in guiding bowhunters
to success. Rifle hunters will hunt in the traditional manner of walk and stalk. Each client will be accompanied by a qualified
Professional Hunter and tracker who will guide the client on foot in search of game. At the conclusion of each day’s
hunt, clients will return to camp for a fully catered meal and drinks, sit around an open friendly campfire, and retire at
their leisure. the outfitter is an experienced, professional hunting company geared for success. We will do everything
possible to ensure our clients experience is a truly authentic, African hunting adventure.
1. Ground blind / elevated platform - you will be placed on a “hot” water hole where game congregates.
2.
Walk & Stalk - This method is the most difficult but rewarding. Stalking game on the ground provides the ultimate excitement.

Hunting in Mozambique
Mozambique is a remaining piece of timeless Africa - and a safe and stable destination. We have enjoyed a 100% success
rate on good Buffalo for 10 years in a row now. Hunters in our area all enjoy top success rates and they typically all get
the species they want. That is good.
I hope to see you in our piece of original Africa sometime.
THE HUNTING AREA
Through our association with Bahati Hunting Safaris, our outfitter can now offer hunting in Coutada 10, which
covers an area of 1,200 square miles (200 000 hectares) of unfenced, wild hunting grounds. The area was formally proclaimed
some 40 years ago during the time of Portuguese rule. Before the war, Safari Landia operated the area with such greats as
Wally Johnson, Harry Manners and Robert Ruark visiting regularly.
The last company to hunt the area before the war – Safric – described the area as the best for a general bag
with Buffalo, Sable, Lichtenstein Hartebeest, Eland, Nyala, Reedbuck, Bushbuck, Lion, Leopard, Bush pig, Warthog as well as
all of the forest duikers – Blue duiker, red duiker, Suni and Oribi. The Zambezi river is the largest river in the area
with many Hippo and Crocodile.
During the long civil war, the area was not hunted.
Depending on the time of year, up to 30% of the area is wetland with enormous swampy plains. On these plains one can on
occasion see herds of several hundred buffalo and it is also here that most of our buffalo hunting is done.
The 494,000 acres of wilderness is bordered by about 30 miles of Indian ocean coastline on the south-eastern side. Coutada
10 is situated south-west of the Marromeu Buffalo Reserve.
Clients access the swamps with an amphibious vehicle and it will often be necessary to sleep in a small satellite “Fly
Camp” on one of the wooded islands. There are large bays and rivers unequalled. One will often encounter Elephant and
the area is also famous for its large forest leopard.
Our area is blessed with herds of animals as it was described in the old days. The region is original, unspoiled and truly
unique, offering a large selection of truly free ranging, wild game. It is one of the few places where you can hunt in unfenced,
remote wilderness.
The sight of a few hundred buffalo remains a privilege.
The greater area has thousands of buffalo. The wilderness is generally doing well and species diversity, game numbers and
trophy quality are improving every year. The area is also unique in its habitat diversity with large rivers, swamps, grassy
plains and forests each contributing to the large animal diversity.
Coutada 10 must be one of the only places in the world where you can hunt free ranging wild Nyala. Sable and Waterbuck
herds are ever increasing, as are their trophies. The small antelope like the Suni, Oribi and the Forest duikers enjoy growing
popularity amongst hunters. With lots of natural water, Hippo and crocodile hunts are something special.
Because of the high rainfall season during the first half of the year, the hunting season in Mozambique is from June to
the end of November. Occasional rain may still occur during this period. Due to the relatively short hunting season, one can
expect to share the camp with other hunters.

Mozambique Camp & Equipment
Camp and Equipment
The campsite is set in a beautiful area beneath some huge indigenous trees. These provide coolness during the hot weather,
while allowing sufficient sunshine through the canopy, to ensure that the camp dries out quickly after the rain.
A well (borehole) provides a strong supply of excellent clean water.
Clients are accommodated in four twin-bedded log cabins, complete with en-suite bathroom.
A lounge, dining room and lapa round everything off nicely while our chef has a “modern kitchen” with a pantry
to his avail. Fridges and deep-freezers are available to provide cool drinks and ice.
The hunting area is large and traveling to the remote areas takes time. This may necessitate that we sleep in the bush
in tented camps. These Fly Camps consist of Mosquito proof tents and sturdy camp beds and is an experience in it’s own
right.
Our transport fleet consists of two Aerostar twin engined aircraft, three Toyota Land Cruiser 4×4 vehicles, two Toyota
Hilux 4×4 vehicles and four Argo amphibian vehicles.
